The Yorkshire Jets, Yorkshire’s No 1 FIAT Netball Superleague team are coming to Hull and after reaching the Fastnet Grand Prix final following a superb win against the Superleague favourites Surrey Storm they are definitely the team to watch!

Renamed and rebranded in the colours of pink and purple the squad contains 6 England players and a breadth of experience and talent who under the leadership of Anna Carter are striving to reach the top 4 and those coveted Play Off spots.

Everyone is invited to take part in ‘guess the goals’ this will be the total number of goals scored across West Yorkshire, entry £1.  The winner will receive a fabulous iPAD value £400.

Dress down – teams must observe rules on team bibs but otherwise pay a £1 and wear something PINK supporting a very worthwhile cause Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.

 Following last week’s announcement of their Fiat Netball Super League Phase 1 home games being held at the Bonus Arena in Hull, Yorkshire Jets are excited to release their new logo and begin the sale of their home tickets ahead of the season start in January.

Not only does this week see the new logo being unveiled on their Twitter and Facebook pages, the Jets can also confirm their ticket prices for the coming season. The ticket prices are designed to reward returning fans, those affiliated to England Netball and any schools or clubs who wish to bring large groups to cheer the players along!

Yorkshire Jets’ first three home games are as follows:

• 27th January – Yorkshire Jets vs Hertfordshire Mavericks
• 6th February – Yorkshire Jets vs Team Northumbria
•  24th February – Yorkshire Jets vs Loughborough Lightning

HULL VENUE CHOSEN FOR YORKSHIRE JETS IN EUROPE’S PREMIER NETBALL LEAGUE

Bonus Arena to host Yorkshire Jets’ home games in Phase 1 of Fiat Netball Super League Season 

After having their status confirmed as one of eight Fiat Netball Super League Franchises, Yorkshire Jets are pleased to announce that their first three home games will be at the Bonus Arena inHull.

The FIAT Netball Super League combines the finest players in theUKalong with international stars, forming 8 Super League franchises fromEnglandandWalesand the Yorkshire Jets areYorkshire’s only franchise.

England Netball announced the fixtures for the FNSL last week and within days the Yorkshire Jets were quick to secure the Bonus Arena as the venue for all their home games in the first phase of competition.

First up for Yorkshire Jets at home are the reigning Fiat Netball Super League champions Mavericks, followed byNorthumbriawhich is the selected Sky Sports game for that round and then finally Jets will host localEast Midlandrivals Loughborough Lightning in their penultimate game of Phase 1.

Yorkshire Jets’ first three home games are as follows:

In preseason the Jets have received a massive boost with Rachel Shaw being selected for the Senior England squad tour to Australia and New Zealand – the first Jets player ever to receive such an accolade. Natalie Haythornthwaite has also received a lift after being asked to train with the England Seniors due to her impressive performance at the recent trials. With quality youngEnglandgirls in the side and a new name, Yorkshire Jets will be striving to stake their claim for one of four play-off spots.
