For anyone who played at school and wants to get back into it (lots of people do, you'd be surprised how quickly you'll remember!), there is a Returners to netball session every Monday from 6.30-8.00 at Hanson School Sports Centre. Cost £2.50 a session. |

The Goalden Globe Awards 2009 is now live on the England Netball website.
There are 10 competitive categories this year, with three new awards (Mary
Bulloch Administrator Award, Officials Award and Grassroots Coach Award). You can read more about the awards and their categories on the site, then get nominating!
The closing date for applications is Friday 24th April.

BEGINNER UMPIRING COURSE
(organised by Humberside County Netball Association)
A course for beginner umpires, with little or no experience of umpiring.
would you like to learn more about the rules?
would you like to gain more confidence when umpiring?
No assessment will take place on the course as candidates need to gain experience on proper match play before applying to be tested for the Beginner Award.
DATE: Sunday 29th March 2009
VENUE: Gemtec Arena, Walton Street, Hull, HU3 6JP
TIME: 10.00 am til 2.30 pm
(please come dressed to play and umpire and bring your own lunch, whistle, pen and paper)
Candidates must be: - Minimum of 12 years of age
