THE BOURNEMOUTH SEVENS INTERNATIONAL RUGBY/NETBALL/MUSIC FESTIVAL
‘The Largest Of Its Kind In The World!’
MAY BANK HOLIDAY
Fri 22nd, Sat 23rd & Sun 24th May 2009
In 2008 the festival attracted a staggering 96 rugby teams (including England World Cup winners & Fijian, Samoan, Tongan, NZ international stars) and 20,000 people attended the festival over the weekend (31st May – 1st June 2008). We had media coverage from SKY, ITV & BBC together with an impressive list of national sponsors, Nintendo, Worthington’s, Gatorade & Red Bull just to mention a few.
We piloted the netball in 2008, holding a Junior tournament on the Saturday & a senior tournament on the Sunday. The positive feedback was so overwhelming that we are now holding a senior 2-day, 80 team National Netball Festival over the bank holiday weekend (23rd, 24th May 2009).
THE NETBALL TOURNAMENT
· National Invitation Cup (16 Teams): Premier League Teams (by invitation only) Winner Takes ALL £1,000 + Prizes
· Open Cup (16 Teams): Regional League Teams
· Beer Cup (24 Teams): Local/Social League Teams
· Party Cup (24 Teams): Recreational Players (optional fancy dress)

I'm hoping to book to go and see the England games on Sun 13th May at 5.30 and 7.45pm, MEN arena, Manchester. It's £17.00/ticket if you would like to go, please forward me £17.00 by the 31st March and I'll book to try and get seats together.
